Para Judo will take centre stage on Saturday, 28 March 2026, as part of the 2026 Toyota SASAPD National Championships in Stellenbosch, with a focused competition programme scheduled at the Maties Gymnasium.

The day will begin with the official weigh-in, ensuring all athletes are correctly entered and ready for competition. This will be followed by a referees training and refresher session, aimed at maintaining high officiating standards and consistency across matches.

Competition is set to get underway mid-morning, with bouts continuing through to early afternoon. The structured programme allows for a smooth flow of matches, providing athletes with the platform to showcase their skills in a controlled and competitive environment.

The Para Judo events will take place at the Maties Gymnasium, including the Sports Hall and Spelesaal, offering a suitable indoor setting for the discipline.
