Free State CP Look Dominant in Final Stages at Toyota SASAPD Nationals

Free State continued to show strong form in CP Football on Day 2 of the 2026 Toyota SASAPD National Championships, securing a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Western Cape at the Coetzenberg Soccer Fields in Stellenbosch.

The result highlights Free State’s growing dominance in the competition, with the team showing control, structure and composure in key moments. Their ability to manage the game under pressure has positioned them as one of the leading contenders as the tournament progresses.

Elsewhere, Gauteng recorded a solid 4–1 win over Western Cape, while North West delivered an emphatic 12–3 victory over Eastern Cape, underlining the attacking nature of the competition.
